Xihai Lithium is a lithium new‑material enterprise integrating mining, beneficiation and lithium salt production. Its Ruoqiang industrial park has a lithium carbonate capacity of 65,000 t/year. The project was ordered by its supply chain subsidiary.

In lithium battery production, copper and zinc particles can cause internal short circuits and thermal runaway. Therefore, all material handling equipment in lithium plants must be copper‑free, zinc‑free and use stainless steel.

The lift is installed in Ruoqiang (ground floor → first floor) to transfer 1.5 t bags of lithium raw materials, working with a pallet jack under high intensity.

  • 304 stainless steel car (2000×2000×2000mm) with full welding, deck 8mm chequer plate
  • All fasteners and metal parts use 316L stainless steel or aluminium alloys – no Cu, no Zn
  • Eliminates contamination risk, meets <0.5µg/m³ Cu/Zn limit for battery‑grade lithium carbonate

2. Heavy load & 6m travel – chain safety + dual fall arrest

  • 20A‑1 double‑strand chain (safety factor >8)
  • Elevator‑grade mechanical safety gear + polyurethane buffer – locks car even if chain breaks
  • Dual‑point wire rope suspension – failure of one rope does not tilt or drop the car
