The client tests how different solar panel orientations affect power output, providing data for PV tracker optimization and inverter matching. Traditional fixed racks or manual adjustments cannot achieve continuous, precise, automated testing.
This turntable is installed outdoors, carrying PV panels, inverters and cables with a total weight of 8.5 tons and platform diameter 8.5 meters. High rigidity, rotation accuracy, electrical reliability and remote control are critical.

1. Large diameter & heavy load: 8.5m diameter + 8.5t load
Challenge: Prevent deflection and deformation under heavy load, maintain flatness ≤±4mm, roundness ≤±3mm.
Solução: High‑strength steel frame, reinforced anchor pads connected to client’s embedded base, low profile (700mm height) for low center of gravity.
Advantage: No deformation, smooth rotation, stable platform for PV testing.

2. Ultra‑low speed & high step accuracy: 0.01‑0.1rpm + 2‑10° steps
Challenge: Continuous ultra‑low rotation or step‑by‑step rotation (2‑10°), stop for data collection. Step angle error ≤±0.5°, response ≤0.5s.
Solução: Siemens V90 servo motor + Siemens S7 PLC for closed‑loop control. Programmable speed, step angle, direction; smooth start/stop, arbitrary stop, one‑key reset.
Advantage: Enables automated data collection at precise orientations, greatly improving test efficiency.
3. Slip ring integration: 360° uninterrupted power & signal transmission
Challenge: DC power from PV panels, AC from inverters, 485 signals and Ethernet cables must pass from rotating platform to stationary side without twisting.

- 485 signal line (2×0.3mm²) for Modbus
- 220V AC power (3×1.5mm²)
- Outdoor Ethernet cable (ø~7mm)
- DC lines (4×4mm²) for PV power
- Input power: 4mm² 220V (3‑wire)

4. Intelligent control & remote communication
