Indexing scissor lift equipment can be achieved through a variety of options.

Indexing is essential to many applications requiring specific spacing for assembly, or positioning product accurately to interface with other machines.

Gradin offers indexing solutions to control the movement of our lift equipment from high accuracy to fully automated. The proper lift index system typically depends on the type of application and the accuracy in which the lift will be operating. These indicate whether exact positioning and/or repeatability is an important feature, or if a completely automated system is preferred.

LOW ACCURACY – LOW FUNCTIONALITY

For applications requiring one stop to a specific position to line up with another, a limit switch can be added.

HIGH ACCURACY – MEDIUM FUNCTIONALITY

A Non-PLC solution utilizing photo-eye sensors that shoots across the product.

LOW ACCURACY – MEDIUM FUNCTIONALITY

A PLC added to the motor control panel and an operator pushbutton station with control buttons.

HIGH ACCURACY – HIGH FUNCTIONALITY

A solution which utilizes PLC logic and a transducer/encoder attached to the lift table.
